School Bullying – Standing Up Against Bullies
Everyone at one point in time in his or her lives fell victim to school bullying. Yes, we have all been there and seen it too. There seems to always be someone at our schools who thinks they are better than everyone else and has the authority to just push around whomever they like. There are even bullies who go as far as to come against teachers, faculty, and any adult that comes in contact with them.
Most of these kids just need to be put in their place. Is that for you to do? No, not necessarily, though in an extreme case it may resort to that. But understanding that these kids will eventually get what’s coming to them will go a long way.
Chances are that if you are being bullied, the reason is because the person that has targeted you his exploited some type of weakness in you that they feel they can take advantage of. Most bullies are not looking for a fight, and will back off if you begin to push back at them.
Bullies love timid kids because they know they will be easy to walk all over. The reason a bully is bullying you in the first place is because the bully needs to make himself look “cool” and this is the only way he or she sees fit to do so. It is very possible to stand up against someone who is school bullying without initiating a fight. When you stand against a bully and firmly ask them to leave you alone, chances are that they will move onto someone else and leave you alone.
