Have you ever been bullied before? Yes, most of us have been there before, and fell victim to a school bully, or a workplace bully. What about a cyber bully? What threat do those types of bullies pose to us? They actually pose quite an unwelcomed threat to us in the long run. Most of these types of bullies scrounge around on the Internet looking for people that the can pester.

A cyber bully is someone who not only wishes to wreck havoc in the school or workplace, but online in the chat rooms or through an instant messaging client as well. These bullies are quite the nuisance indeed, and tend to hang around the person they are bullying like an undesirable disease.

What can one do to avoid an Internet bully? Well, one of the things to do would be to change your IM service screen name. But this is kind of hassle that you don’t even really need to do anyway. Why should you have to go through all of the work to change your name, and give it back out to the people that you want to have it. This is kind of like dealing with a stalker, and as sad as the case may be, that’s basically the best way to deal with any type of bully, is to avoid them at all costs.

If you know the person personally, I suppose you could get your parents involved with the situation, and this will more than likely shut the bully up for good. These are just a few tips and tricks to dealing with a cyber bully who just wont leave you alone. If you ask me, these cats just need to get themselves a girlfriend (or a boyfriend if it’s a girl bully.)
